Welcome to ‘a4uexpo Bavarian Beer and Sausage on stand 50′!
We are here to give you all of the information you could ever have wanted to know about Bavarian beer, German sausages and the wonderful stand 50 at the A4UExpo in London.
If you have arrived here on a4uexpobavarianbeerandsausageonstand50.co.uk without knowing what the heck is going on I expect you could be rather confused! Let me explain…
Mr Bas van den Beld of State of Search has launched a competition whereby the aim is to get a piece of content ranking number one in Google UK for the term ‘a4uexpo Bavarian Beer and Sausage on stand 50’. The winner, announced at midday (12:00 GMT) on the 12th October 2011, will receive a full pass to a4uexpo London 2011, a room in the Hilton Metropole along with a Deluxe Hilton Burger (although I’m sure this should be a sausage really) and a bucket of beer (or bottle of Champagne)!
And so here is my entry!
Side Note: Kevin Wiles
Check out this picture of Kevin Wiles. Spot anything odd? That’s right, it’s not Kevin, it’s Paul Martin! Kev Wiles has a bit of a reputation issue in search engines (as a search for “Kevin Wiles” will soon show!) so Paul is trying to rank his pic to help out (in an odd kind of way!).
But let’s not get carried away. Let us spare a few minutes to remember why we are all here today (unless you’re here for Bavarian beer and sausage on stand 50 that is); A4Uexpo.
How to make the most of a4uexpo London as a Delegate
1. Know Who’s Speaking
Do you’re research on who is speaking before the conference begins. Often the title of a session alone is not enough to figure out what the talk will be on. Make sure you know a little about the speakers and what their specialities are. That way you can make a more informed decision on who to see.
As with many conferences, the a4uexpo run several sessions at once. Knowing who the speakers are and what they are talking about means you won’t miss out on the stuff that is useful to you.
2. Take Notes
It’s very easy just to site an listen at a conference. Trust me, you will forget everything! Make sure you take plenty of notes either with a pen and paper or on an electronic device. However if you are going to take notes on a laptop or tablet, always ensure you remember to take the charger!
You don’t just learn from listening to people on stage, but also from sharing stories and experiences with the other delegates. Whether you’re reasons to network are for business or pleasure, always network both in-between the sessions and in the social events afterwards.
4. Go Easy on the Bavarian Beer
Finally, go easy on the Bavarian beer from stand 50! You can eat as much of the Bavarian sausage as you like, but when it comes to the beer, you’ll only regret it in the morning!
